We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Mentis Cleantech Futures Bursary for the Masters, Sustainability Leadership at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
The Mentis Cleantech Futures Bursary
is an expression of my sincere thanks to all those who participated in the research for my dissertation for the University of Cambridge Master’s in Sustainability Leadership. Understanding the Factors That Stimulate, Attract and Retain Cleantech Enterprises
was over a year in the making and researched the location decisions of cleantech enterprises in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
The paper was the centerpiece of my two years at Cambridge, a period that has strongly enhanced my understanding of the levers available to business in charting a sustainable future. The interdisciplinary Masters is at the forefront of knowledge in the sustainability space. I chose this innovative, part-time programme upon my assessment that Cambridge was not only the most sincere about making positive change, but also possessed the business and government engagement, research networks and global reach to execute on the bold vision of its founders. I am extremely thankful that it chose me as well.
I am convinced that the development of a vibrant global clean technology sector is fundamental to tackling many of the most pressing sustainability challenges we face, and is vital to a transition to a green economy. As promised, in honour of your participation, I have created a modest annual bursary, open to self-funding applicants involved in the cleantech sector. I strongly encourage those contemplating adding formal rigor and depth to their existing knowledge base to consider this visionary, connected and transformative two-year
programme.
Details on the bursary can be found

All the very best, and once again, thank you for your contributions.
